SGPDA wholesale market to reopen from Friday

The wholesale fish market in Margao will be re-opened in the presence of FDA officials. The decision was taken in the SGPDA meeting on Thursday. The arriving fish is supposed to be tested at the market.

The meet also decided to re-construct Usgao market and also to sell some plots at Dhavli.

The meeting also discussed how to increase the revenue.

SGPDA president Wilfred D'Sa, Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardessai, Margao MLA Digambar Kamat and others were present for the meeting.

Vijai said the fish arriving at the market will be tested in mobile lab.
