Carmona panchayat orders Verda resort to shut down operations

Carmona village panchayat has decided not to grant extension to Verda resorts at Olavaddo, Carmona.
Panchayat says resort is illegal and says it will write to it ordering that all activities be stopped.
Carmona panchayat had issued stop order to Verda resorts for not showing necessary documents.
The resort had approached court but their plea was rejected.
Later, Verda resorts requested the panchayat to grant an extension till 31st May.
But, Carmona panchayat in its body meeting decided not to grant any extension.
The panchayat will conduct an inspection of the resort and if it is found to contravene the law the property might be sealed.
