ZP elections on 22 March: CM

The chief minister Pramod Sawant said that the Zilla panchayat elections are likely to be postponed to 22nd March from the earlier date of 15th of March. He said that the notification is expected to come out any time now.

The chief minister said that the government had sent out this proposal to the State Election Commission because of the Shigmo festival. He said that the notification of the reservation would also be released on the same day. He was speaking on the sidelines of the Goa Van Bhavan festival.
