Liberation Day progs to go countrywide: CM

This the 60th liberation day will be celebrated with great grandeur showcasing the states culture and freedom struggle. Programs will be held within Goa and across the country through the year beggining from Goa Liberation Day -Dec 19,2020, the chief minister Pramod Sawant said on Friday.

The government has sought funds to the tune of Rs 100 crore from the center for to conducting this year long program to celebrate the 60th year of liberation of the state the CM said. A committe has been constituted to plan the programme.
