CM says he is ready to send Labour scam file to ACB

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said he has no objection to send the file related to the Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Fund to Anti-Corruption Bureau. He said he will direct the Labour Department to do the needful.

  Goa Lokayukta P K Mishra has passed an order directing the anti-Corruption Bureau to file an FIR against unknown persons for hatching a conspiracy to siphon off funds from  the Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Fund. The order is also against those who fraudulently took benefit of the money. Goa Forward had filed a case with Goa Lokayukta against labour funds scam..

  Goa Forward had said that the  13 crore rupee package under the Goa Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board Assistance scheme was a multi-crore scam.
