Assembly winter session to begin from Monday, chaos expected

The Eighth Session of the Goa Legislative Assembly is all set to begin from tomorrow morning. As the days of the session have been cut short to just 4 days, the big challenge lies before the opposition to cover their crucial issues within this span of time. Commotion in the house can be expected as the session is being held amid a fresh row over Mhadei

The winter session will begin with an address by the Governor followed by obituary references, and congratulatory references before beginning business with the question hour and zero hour. Later, assent to 31 various bills would be given, and tabling of the first report of the Business Advisory Committee by the Chief Minister.

To begin with, the oppositionwere up in arms over cutting short the session by 4 days. And now Mhadei too. Together, these issuescould lead to some chaotic scenes or walk outs by the opposition
