10 shops in Vasco sealed in Vasco for not renewing trade licences

Mormugao Municipal Council on Wednesday sealed 10 shops as the owners failed to renew their trade licences. This prompted the defaulting shop-owners to rush to the municipal office to renew their trade licences.

MMC undertook the drive to check trade licences of shops.

The municipal inspectors sealed shops and commercial establishments which did not have valid trade licence or house tax.

After the sealing drive, many shop and outlet owners frantically rushed to the municipality to renew their trade licences.
