Will not touch the 6 existing floating casinos; but will not allow a 7th: Ports Minister

The 6 floating casinos that are anchored in the Mandovi river will not be touched. But I will not allow a seventh, Ports minister Michael Lobo said on Saturday. He said that this government would not act against any existing businesses.

Michael was speaking about the opposition by the Saligao MLA Jayesh Salgaokar against shifting a couple of casinos to the Verem shore during a function at Canca Verla. Watch.   

The Waste Management Minister Michael Lobo said that they would be starting the work on the Cacora waste management plant by 13 of December.

And the state of the art plant that would handle  wet waste would be completed  in 15 months.
