UD Min Milind faces wrath of his own voters, Sada people protest

Soon after taking over the cabinet berth, urban development minister Milind Naik had to face the rage of his own voters of Mormugao constituency.



That too over the issue of garbage. People of Sada in Vasco came down on the road. Under the banner of Murgao Jan Jagruti Samiti.

And marched to Mormugao Municipal Council with placards displaying the garbage lying scattered on roads and the overflowing garbage dumping site at Sada. 

Protestors demanded a permanent solution to the garbage issue. They  also submitted a memorandum to the Council. 

Resident Jayesh Shetgaonkar said that the garbage dumping site at Sada had caused residents a lot of issues since the past 30 years.

 

Councillor Sandesh Mesta said that MMC had conducted an immediate inspection and cleared the garbage from the road.


Mesta also said that they would be approaching DMA to seek help in resolving  the garbage issue.
