Taps run dry in Vasco, locals survive on rain water

Imagine in this day and age that people are forced to collect rain water for the daily use. Goa has got an immense amount of rain till date. But residents of New Vaddem Vasco still don't get water. Their taps are running dry for the last 6 days.

Ironically, when the PWD was requested to send water tankers, they refused giving the corona escuse. But one thing the government does not do. And it does not matter whether water comes via the taps or not, but water bills are never missed. Loclas say that many complaints have been filed. But to no avail.
