Reduce high electricity bills, bring down VAT on diesel, petrol: AAP

am Aadmi Party has strongly condemned the functioning of the BJP Governments in the state and at the Centre. On Friday, AAP demanded that the government should give relief to the common man from exorbitantly high electricity bills. AAP also demanded lowering of VAT on fuel.

AAP youth leader Lourenco Silva said that high prices of diesel and petrol were putting additional burden on the common man who was already reeling under the weight of inflated electricity bills. He said that unemployment was at an all time high and spending power of the people was so weak that instead of helping tide over difficulties, people were further burdened by an insensitive government. Meanwhile, AAP welcomed the move by the Delhi government to reduce VAT on diesel to 16.75%.
