Quelossi villagers reiterate opposition to Mini India project

The villagers want the site to be restored to its original position.

The villagers convened a meeting on Sunday to reiterate their opposition to the project.

Local MLA Alina Saldanha and an NIO scientist Baban Ingole attended the meeting.

Goa Foundation had filed a PIL against the project in the National Green Tribunal.

Even though the NGT gave its verdict against the project, the mud filling done in the low-lying area is yet to be cleared.
