: Lokayukta has clearly indicted BJP’s former chief minister Laxmikant Parsekar and two senior officials in a corruption case of renewing mining leases. But BJP Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant claims it’s not binding on the government. And Parsekar points fingers at CM Sawant as well as minister Nilesh Cabral. Based on this, Congress says CM Sawant is also the accused party. Watch this political drama on mining corruption.

Lokayukta has ordered the state government to file corruption cases against Parsekar, then mining secretary Pawan Kumar Sain and then mining director Prasanna Acharya and then hand over the case to CBI. But according to Dr Sawant, Lokayukta is a recommendatory body. Still, he will consult the Advocate General Devidas Pangam.

: Ex-CM Laxmikant Parsekar has dubbed Lokayukta order as mere entertainment. He claims that he has not accepted a single rupee for renewing 88 mining leases. In fact he suspects a political conspirary to nail down one person when it was a cabinet decision.

GPCC President Girish Chodankar has taken advantage of this tussle between the two BJP leaders and has stated that CM Sawant cannot decide on Lokayukta order since he is the accused party, as per the accusation made by Parsekar.
