NSUI leaders confront Director of Students Welfare over student council election

Chaotic scenes prevailed in the office of Directorate of Students Welfare and Culture Affairs after NSUI activists confronted Dattesh Parulekar, director students welfare and culture affairs over students union election.



NSUI activist marched to the office of Directorate of Students Welfare and Culture Affairs to inquire about students union elections.

They questioned its director why the elections are being held on October 30 when the term has already got over.

The situation turned tense after the Director and NSUI activists started shouting at each other.

However, Director of Students Welfare and Culture Affairs Dattesh Parulekar has refuted all the allegations.

He has stated that vice-chancellor and executive council has taken the decision to conduct fair and free elections.
