Is CM offering jobs for non-Goans in Goa? asks Goencho Avaz

NGO Goencho Awaz has alleged that many Goans are unemployed and the vacancies meant for Goans are given to non-Goans. The NGO held a protest at Verna and there the question was asked why Goans are being deprived of jobs in the private sector at the Verna Industrial Estate.

Goencho Avaz along with some workers from the Industrial Estate held a protest at Verna to highlight the issues of unemployment and alleged harassment meted out to Goan workers.

Some of the workers alleged that Goans are not being given jobs at the industrial estate. But instead, non-Goans are being given preference.
