Goa365 telecast the news of the whole hillock at Paroda burning for four days and forest officials finally rushed to put off the fire. And now on the other hand, locals as well as Aam Aadmi Party suspect that it was not accidental fire, but a deliberate conspiracy to burn down lakhs of trees. They want investigation.

The hillock adjacent to famous Chandreshwar Bhootnath Parvat at Paroda started burning from Monday. When the fire spread throughout the hillock and was visible, Goa 365 on Thursday showed these shocking visuals. By Friday morning, around 50 Forest Department personnel rushed to control the fire. The local farmers claim that lakhs of cashew trees as well as mango and other trees have been burnt into ashes. Fire brigade also reached there. But there was no access to reach the hilltop. After watching our news, AAP South Goa candidate Elvis Gomes rushed to the site and spoke to the locals. Besides him, our reporter also got the same response from the locals. They suspect a foul play. They are blaming the local panchayat as well as other authorities for their mysterious silence over this fire, when it was visible from the road.
