Give first preference to local fishermen in SGPDA market: fishermen body

Traditional fishermen should be given first preference in the SGPDA market only then should other trucks be allowed in, traditional fishermen have demanded from the Fisheries Department. They are also upset that vehicles are coming and selling fish in the market.

 The Fisheries department should not give permits to everyone but traditional fishermen. If everyone is given a permit then any person can start fish selling job calling himself a fishermen, the fishermen said.

 There is no proper management of vehicle entry into SGPDA. Due to which traditional fishermen are facing injustice. The vehicles of local fish vendors should be given first preference for the entry and then allow outside vehicles.
