Do not use Kabrastan land for garden: Muslim trust

Azad Jamatul Muslmeen Welfare Trust has alleged that the Corporation of the City of Panjim is illegally trying to make a garden and road for a builder in the land belonging to the Muslim cemetery in Santa Inez.

The trust says the land was acquired for expansion of the cemetery by the government but the land is being sought to be used to build a road  a builder. 

Azad Jamatul Muslmeen Welfare Trust says the land was acquired  by the government in 1981.

The trust says the PDA has approved the changes in the plan to make a garden.
