Demolish illegal building, complainant tell Chinchinim panchayat

The Chinchinim Deussa panchayat should immediately demolish a building that has been illegally built in panchayat land, the complainant who had taken the issue to the director of panchayat has demanded. The demolition order was issues by the director and the one month deadline is fast approaching, he said.

The structure was on panchayat land and earmarked for a market complex. In case the building was in the hands of the panchayat then it could garner some revenue for it, the complainant Winston Dias said.
