CS again fails to file reply on CM's health, HC issues deadline

The government has once again failed to tell the high court about the health status of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar.



After the third adjournment, the high court has now set Friday as a deadline to the chief secretary to file his reply.


The hearing on the petition filed for CM's health status would then begin from Monday.


Trajano D'Mello has filed this petition in the court, asking for CM's medical report by appointig a team of expert doctors.


Before the hearing could start, the high court had sent a notice to the chief secretary to file his reply by 26th of November.


Since then, it is now getting adjourned for the third time.


No reply from the government till date. On the other hand, Goa's Youth Congress has demanded that CM Parrikar should resign on the day of his birthday, that is 13th December, taking responsibility of collapsed administration and law and order.


They have also criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not sparing little time to meet the mining dependents when he attends the wedding of film star Priyanka Chopra.
