Cong burn Sawaikar’s effigy for anti-Bishop remarks

Congress once again hit the streets in protest on Tuesday . But this time in support of the Church and against the former BJP MP and NRI commissioner Narendra Sawaikar statement. They want an apology from Sawaikar and burnt his effigy.

Few days ago, Former South BJP MP Narendra Sawaikar had made a statement after the Goa Bishop had appealed to the government to withdraw its support to CAA and NRC. To this Narendra Sawaikar had told the bishop to stop claiming benefits under Article 30 of the Indian Constitution, which deals with minority educational institutions.
