Carmona gram sabha opposes eco-tourism project

On Saturday, Carmona gram sabha opposed 16B amendment and filed an objection to the TCP to convert the Khajan field for an eco tourism project. The issue was raised in the gram sabha after a paddy field of 90,000 sq mts was taken over for an eco-tourism project. The local panchayat was unaware of this project. They also had no idea who was the new owner of the land. Panchayat had thus decided to put up the issue before the council as well as the Gram Sabha. The Carmona gram sabha has resolved to file objection to the conversion of this field.
