Bison killing: Cavrem-Pirla locals demand job, compensation for victim

On Friday, Caurem-Pirla locals took a morcha to the office of Range Forest Officer in Quepem over the killing of a senior citizen in Caurem by a bison demanding that a family member be given a job and compensation.

They also demanded security for the locals from the bison’s in general besides the culprit animal be caught.  

Range Forest Officer of Quepem Sangam Gawas assured locals that he would forward the Cavrem- Pirla locals request to the higher authorities.
