Another controversy brews in Margao wholesale market

Margao Fish Wholesale Market controversy has taken a different direction. PDA and wholesale fish market association controversy is now over and a new controversy has begun between the traditional fishermen and wholesale fish vendors. Traditional fishermen have leveled some serious allegation against wholesale fish vendors.

SGPDA has given the tender to collect Sopo to the previous contractor instead of appointing a new contractor. The association had gone up in arms over the issue. 

Now, traditional fish vendors have filed complaint with PDA against the wholesale fish vendors. This is market belongs to Goans, not migrants, let us do business in peace, they argued.
