‘Shift venue to Vasco’ memorandum submitted

A section of Vasco citizens has opposed to the venue that is planned for the environmental public hearing.
The existing venue is Ravindra Bhavan in Margao, but residents want it to be held at Tilak Maidan in Vasco.
Locals along with members of the NIZ Goenkar revolution front submitted the memorandum to the South Goa Collector.
They are objecting to the Margao venue calling it inadequate, improper and unsuitable to hold an event of this nature.
