Vasco taxi operators are agitated as hotel coaches come and take passengers from the domestic cruise liners that berth at Mormugao port.

Taxi operators have threatened to agitate and block the buses if their union is not informed in advance about the their arrival.

This is about the business from Domestic cruise ship Angriya that plies between Mumbai and Goa.

Taxi operators alleged that hotel coaches come with a letter and enter the cruise terminal after getting the police stamp on it.

Vasco taxi operators say they are a part of registered taxi union under GTDC. They allege that when Nilesh Cabral was the GTDC chairman, a joint meeting was held with tour operators.

At this meeting it was agreed that the passengers would be shared in a ratio of 60:40 with the buses getting the major share.
