Road digging irks Parsem locals, Sapranch says...

Underground light cabling work is currently underway in Pernem’s Parsem, due to which locals and commuters face inconvenience due to excavation of roads in populated areas. As per locals, contractors should finish the work as soon as possible with proper planning.

The PWD is seen digging roads around the year in the name of cabling and sewerage work. However, if the contractor does not complete the work within the given stipulated time, it is the people who have to suffer. Frustrated with the digging, Parsem locals have raised an uproar.
