Minister Gaude meets distressed shop vendors

Local vendors selling fruits and vegetables outside the Goa Medical College and hospital have been issued a notice by the Collector to evacuate space outside the hospital entrance.

This is on account of them causing obstruction to enter the hospital premises and traffic congestion near the hospital. On Wednesday, Art and Culture minister Govind Gaude met the vendors and heard their grievances

Listening to their concerns, Gaude said that he will speak to the concerned authorities and also the Chief Minister and come out with a solution.

Vendors demand alternate place or solution to this. However, the Chief Minister assured that he will provide an alternate place for the vendors.
