Inquiry into Margao Hospicio fire

The Health minister promised that he would ensure that the new district hospital would be ready in 6 months. 

12 patients who were using the dialysis facilities at Hospicio are diverted to other Centres in the town.  

A part of Hospicio hospital was completely gutted on Friday.

The room with the dialysis machines has been entirely damaged. The hospital has been declared a condemned building.

But there is a case filed by the person operating these machines. And he cannot be evicted.

Vishwajit also informed that they were planning to conduct liver screening in the state as part of the diabetic package. This would be a pilot scheme.
