Housing scheme OTS wont help Govt servants: Goa Forward

The government has scrapped the housing scheme for governemnt servants. However it has now decided to give a one time settlement scheme for those same people. However, opposition party Goa Forward is sceptical about this. They alleged that the Government wants to fool the people and put extra debt on their back.

On Tuesday, Goa Forward General Secretary Mohandas Lolienkar and Employees Forward Convenor John Nazareth came down heavily on the Government on the HBA Issue. They said that the one-time-settlement scheme of HBA is a scam. GBA said that the Government does have the money to play back its their own loans and debt so how will it pay for the loans taken by the government employees?
