ColvaP’yat resolves to hike garbage tax on hotels, cut tax on schools, religious sites || ENGLISH || GOA365

The Colva Panchayat’s Gram Sabha meeting was held today. Garbage management was a key issue raised by locals. The panchayat resolved to decrease the garbage tax levied on schools and religious sites while hiking the same for large hotels.

 The panchayat also resolved to bear the cost of garbage tax on citizens.
