Usgao market vendors allege govt apathy; say will repair market themselves

10 Jul 2018 06:28 PM

PDA's Usgao market is in pathetic condition.

The recent heavy rains have made matters worse.

Water gets accumulated on the terrace and it drips down the walls.

Vendors seem to have lost hope and trust in the government.

They say they have complained many times. But the government does not seem to want to repair it - so they will do it themselves.

This building can collapse at any moment.

The ceiling is in a poor state. Iron rods from pillars are visible.

There are around 48 shops in the market besides fish and vegetable vendors.
