Mini India heats up ‘mini war’ between Mauvin & Alina

It’s BJP versus BJP in Mormugao once again. But this time between Minister Mauvin Godhino and MLA Alina Saldanha. On the issue of Mini India project proposed in Quellossim. Mauvin says it would provide employment to locals. But Alina has asked her party minister to explain what kind of jobs people would get.

There were many people and locals opposing the project of Mini India. Claiming that it violates CRZ guidelines and destroy khazan land. Cortalim MLA Alina has supported them. But Panchayat Minister Mauvin has advised MLAs not to take up to activism and misguide the people. He also says neither the project would pollute the environment nor it would create any kind of nuisance.

Mauvin also claims it would provide employment to the locals who otherwise go abroad. Cortalim MLA Alina Saldanha, however, has bounced back on Mauvin on his statement of employment generation. She has questioned as to how and where can people of the surrounding areas get jobs and when?
