Madgao Veg & Chicken market to be upgraded: Vijai

Fatorda MLA and minister Vijai Sardessai said the vegetable and chicken market in Madgao will be upgraded soon by spending around 25 crore rupees. If not before bye-elections are announced, he says he will get it approved before the Lok Sabha election is announced.

Vijai was speaking to media during the unveiling function of a new sweeping machine at SGPDA fish market in Margao on Tuesday.

The sweeping machine is sponsored by Gas Authority of India Ltd as a CSR initiative.

His next target is to get a bigger machine like this to clean the roads of Fatorda.

Talking about the formalin issue he says that formalin in fish was the biggest challenge they had to face which was banned later.

He also criticized the Congress party for complaining about the formalin issue.
