Wait for one and a half year. And all the trains of Konkan Railway would start running on electricity. Railway Minister Piyush Goel has announced it while launching BJP’s membership drive in Goa. However, he could not give any firm assurance on the crucial mining issue, though he spoke about it.

The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party started its statewide membership drive on Saturday, at the hands of Railway Minister Piyush Goel, from Sankhli constituency of chief minister Dr. Pramod Sawant. At this time, he spoke about his plans for upgrading Konkan Railway.

The function at Ravindra Bhavan was attended by party functionaries, ministers, and MLAs.

But everybody was waiting for Goel to speak about Goa’s mining issue. And he spoke. But without giving any firm assurance. The same statement that center is studying the issue. And it’s difficult to find a firm solution. Because the matter is in the court.
