Infrastructure at Colva beach is crumbling

Colva beach is a prime tourist attraction but the steps that lead to the beach are broken. And the authorities concerned have not initiated any action  to repair the steps.

 The village panchayat of Colva says it has written to the Tourism Department to take up the repair and maintenance work of the steps immediately. It has also urged the department to re-construct the broken retaining wall at Sernabatim.
