Farmugudi fort to get London Eye-like structure

The long due beautification work of Shivaji fort in Farmagudi is to finally kick off. PWD Minister Sudin Dhavalikar has announced the installation of London Eye like structure estimated to cost at least 3.5 crore rupees.



Eye- is a giant Ferris wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London.

It is Europe's tallest Ferris wheel and offers the highest public viewing point in London. 

Now beat this, PWD Minister has aimed to bring a similar structure at historic Shivaji Fort at Farmagudi. The project will begin by October. 

It was time and again reported that Farmagudi’s Shivaji fort needs maintenance.  Though Minister has promised, it will take another 3 months for the plan to get conceptualized.
