Aquem Baixo locals upset over open defecation at army recruitment drive

Army is in the process of recruiting at its facility in Aquem Baixo.

The response for a few vacancies has been overwhelming.

In the absence of any toilet facility, thousands of candidates who have turned up for preliminary tests are defecating in the open.

Aquem Baixo falls in Navelim constituency represented by Luizinho Faleiro.

He has taken up the issue of the nuisance created. Luizinho is rumoured to be one of the aspirants for Congress South Goa parliamentary seat.

Luizinho, is Congress party's in charge of north eastern states. Mizoram's was one of the 5 states that had elections recently.

The ruling Congress was ousted and managed to win only five seats in the assembly of 40.
