Mhadei close to my heart like mining: CM

The Mhadei river is very important for Goa. And the Mhadei issue along with mining issue are the most important issues in my book. This is what the chief minister Pramod Sawant had to say on Sunday.

The Chief minister was speaking during the Mhadei utsav held at Thane in Sattari.. This is a three day festival showcasing the traditions and culture of this area.

The Mhadei dispute has been poised over the state like a knife at the jugular for quite some time now.

And it has still not been sorted out to the satisfaction of all.

The chief minister also stressed that there was need to maintain the unique culture of the state. And for this one had to go to all of Goa's villages and showcase this culture.
