Madkaikar & Palyekar give their one-year report

As Parrikar led coalition completes one year in office, two cabinet ministers, Power Minister Pandurang Madkaikar & Water Resources Minister Vinoda Palyekar briefed media on their one-year progress.

Power Department will link north grid to the south grid so as to provide uninterrupted power to the state if one grid fails. 

There are also projects in the pipeline to improve the power distribution network in the state, the Power minister told reporters on Wednesday.

Goa government has completed one year on Wednesday.

Power Minister Pandurang Madkaikar apprised reporters about the department's achievement over the past one year. 

He said a number of sub-stations will either be replaced or upgraded so as to improve quality of power.

The Water Resources Minister also gave his report card on the department's achievements over the year.

Minister Vinod Palyekar said a lot of work has been done and many projects were in the pipeline.
