Collector track downs on haphazard roads in North

North district Collector invoking section 144 of Code of Criminal Procedure has prohibited any person, agency, organization, Government Department, local body or public sector undertaking from digging or cutting of any of the public roads in cities or villages without his prior written permission. This order will come in effect from May 15 and remain in force for 60 days.

And in case there is a need for an emergency digging, the dugout the road has to be covered in less than six hours. And it has to be also properly paved or cemented within 24 hours. Or if not they will have to face action.
