Casinos will destroy future of youth: GSM

Goa Suraksha Manch youth wing has alleged that casinos have destroyed the future of Goan youth. Also allegations of prostitution have resulted a Goan women getting a bad name.

GSM Yuva Manch has also added its opposition to the the proposed amendment to the gambling act, and criticized the Chief Minister Pramod Sawant statements on casinos.

GSM yuva manch president Nitin Faldessai alleged that drugs and prostitution are directly related to the casino industry. And this has brought a bad name to Goa.

During his election campaign Panaji MLA Babush Monserrate had assured that he will throw out all the casinos from river Mandovi if he got elected.

Its a month now since the by-polls results were declared and 70 days are left …... In the interim there was a major confrontation between the city fathers, the local MLA and one of the casino operators.
