1st batch of Rafales to arrive in India by July 29

The first batch of 29 Rafale fighter jets is likely to be reach the airforce on 29 July. These fighter jets will be deployed at Ambala Air Force station Haryana.



If everything goes as planned these fighter jets will be inducted into Indian Air Force by 20th August.

Air crew and ground crew have been trained to handle these aircrafts.

India has signed deal of 36 Rafale fighter jets with France. France will give India jets ready for combat with modern weapons.

First squadron of Rafale will be deployed at Ambala and second squadron will be deployed at Hashimara in West Bengal.

The jets will be deployed with meteor and scalp missile. It will enable Indian Air Force to aim enemies base targets.
