Margao needs toilets. But it also needs footpaths given the heavy traffic in the city. No the government has installed bio toilets on footpaths.
These toilets cover almost the entire footpath and will force the people to walk on the roads.
The city needs toilets. Due to lack of toilets people are seen peeing on the roads. However, is putting up toilets on footpaths the solution?
Municipality chairperson Babita Angle says that there was no permission had bee given for the same. And in case the culprits do not remove the toilet, instructions have already been given to lift it up.
