Will review section 144, no terror threat: CM

The chief minister Pramod Sawant on Saturday said that he is thinking of reviewing the section 144 imposed in North Goa. He said that tourists are welcome into the state as there is no terror threat to the state.

The North Goa Collector had imposed section 144 on the state.

In her order it was stated that as there were some inputs of terror threat into the state and the possibility that some anti social elements would be coming to the state, there was to be complete verification of people staying in the state.

And section 144 was imposed because of that.
