GOA POLICE ADOPT BLOCKCHAIN TECH

Goa Police Crime Branch on Tuesday, signed an MoU with 5ire blockchain pvt Ltd to digitize the entire police records and process. The technology which gave life to cryptocurrency is now being used by the Goa Police toensure police documents are securely stored.

The MoU signed by Goa police crime branch and 5ire blockchain Pvt ltd is eventually aimed at turning the entire policing paperwork into digital form. The services expected to begin in a year’s time will first begin saving current records after which another tie-up with NIC will push to digitize all available data records.
