Mining workers on Friday threatened to campaign against the BJP and stop them campaigning in the mining belt for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

On Thursday the mining workers held a meeting. The meeting decided that they would close the mining  belt down on February 26.  Puti told Goa 365 that yesterday the the way forward was confirmed. Watch Puti.

Nilesh Cabral, the power minister and a vociferous mining advocate said that it would not make any sense to not vote for the BJP given that the NDA was most likely to come back to power at the Centre.
