National Disaster Relief Fund along with Disaster Management of Goa explained the measures to be taken during floods.

NDRF personnel also demonstrated how to save yourselves during floods till the help arrives. 

Deputy collector also said evacuation sites were kept ready with all kinds of necessary facilities during the recent floods.

However, evacuation was not required as impact was not that severe.  He also said around 35 people from Tiswadi were compensated whose properties were damaged due to heavy rains.
