Everybody was saying that future of present BJP-led coalition government of Goa would depend upon the Assembly election results of five states.

BJP lost in all the five states, Obviously Congress is jubilant because they have snatched the Hindi heartland from the BJP. But even Goa Forward feels this result could affect Goa if they continue with the same national level policies here.

The Congress is expecting the coalition government to fall in Goa and even the Assembly may be dissolved.

In such a situation, the opposition leaders feel good days are ahead for the Congress.

Goa Forward leader and minister Vijay Sardesai said in Delhi that BJP may lose Lok Sabha election in Goa if it does not restart mining. And in Goa, the coalition partner's general secretary Mohandas Lolayekar felt that it could affect the government only if the BJP doesn't change its national policy.

We also tried to get comment from MGP President Dipak Dhavalikar. But he said he would speak only after 14th December, when decision on restarting mining would be taken in Delhi.

We could not get GSM leader Subhash Velingkar as he has left for Delhi to attend the Dharna at Jantar Mantar.
