Walke murder: charge sheet filed

The charges are filed section 398, section 201 for destruction of evidence, section 120 P for planning a conspiracy, section 27 and 25 of arms act and section 3.

The cases is being heard in Margao's Civil and Criminal Court.

Crime Branch had first arrested accused Omkar Patil and Edson Gonsalves in Swapnil Walke murder case.

Later, a third accused Mustafa Sheikh surrendered before police.

Crime Branch PI, C L Patil is the investigating officer of the case. The 1200 pages charge sheet brings in 150 witnesses.

VO2: Margao based jeweler Swapnil Walke was murdered in broad day light inside his shop on 2^nd September. The incident had sparked outrage all over the Goa. A video had went viral of Swapnil's murder. The murder case led to allegations and counter allegations among the Congress and the BJP.
